Bethenny Getting Married Review by TBS
I absolutely loved watching this show. I, like many others, can not get enough of Real Housewives, and this was no different.
Bethenny has always been one of my favorite housewives. She tell’s it like it is, and has great taste. I admire her strength and work ethic. Just look at the brand she has created for herself, it’s pretty amazing if you think about it.
Last Thursday, Bravo aired the much anticipated episode where Bethenny gets married to Jason Hoppy. Since I love all things wedding ... I thought I would share my opinions … yes the “Good, Bad & Ugly,” just like Bethenny herself would do!
THE GOOD:
-I thought her dress was really pretty. You could hardly tell she was preggers under there. Although there was a lot of dress, it looks good. You have to be careful with dresses of that nature, because they could turn into a disaster. Luckily for her, it worked. Her dress was an Amsale’s Kenneth Poole called “Romantic.”
-Love love love the white runway and clear floor over the pool … stunning!
-The lighting was gorgeous in the room, I love how it complimented the amazing trees! The trees were uplit, they were not actually that color.
-Their vows … they were beautiful and heartfelt!
-Who didn't love the balls in the pool at the reception .. brings a fun, modern twist
-White dance floors aer so chic
THE BAD:
-I really wish she would have had a prettier background to get ready in. If you’re going to pay a photographer the big bucks, make sure they have a decent background to take them. Getting ready shots should be about “glam!”
-I would have really liked to see more flowers, but that’s just my personal taste!
-I did not like her maid of honour dress .. that was dreadful!
-The grooms boutonniere was slanted slightly, this should have been caught by the wedding coordinator. They did however fix it for pictures afterwards... thank goodness, you know Bethenny would have freaked out!
-The wedding cake.. Come on Bethenny, you could have done better than that! I am sure it tasted great, but it did not look like a “celeb cake.”
THE UGLY:
-No walking around in curlers for paparazzi … yikes. She should have had an alternative place to get into the restaurant!
-Come on, find an alternative for the bride to pee … seriously!!!
