New Year's Eve Tablescape via The Bridal Solution :: Hello 2014

Last year, in 2012, we had a record number of visitors to our blog after our debut of our New Year's Eve Tablescape, Bridal Edition, found HERE.  And honestly, we're still swooning over how good the table and bride looked in this photoshoot ... seriously, it's some awesome goodness!

 At the request of some of our loyal readers, we've been at it again!  Although it's not a bridal edition, this gold, bubbly inspired tablescape still takes our breath away!  We're also super excited that because this is in our home, we'll be able to enjoy the fruits of the labor by hosting a progressive dinner that evening with a few our our friends. We're dessert!!

TBS Inspiration: Bridesmaid Blending Bar

 Last night we has such an incredible time at Pi Beta Phi on the Mizzou Campus for our Bridesmaid Night -

A TBS Event where we tell the "untold story" of how to be the perfect bridesmaid!  

Complete with Shower and Bachelorette Party Ideas!

We introducted last night an idea that is taking this country by storm!

Each of the beautiful ladies last night were able mix their favorite scents together to form the perfect blend of fragrences.  Here is a sampling of what the women had to choose from.

It was such a hit that we have decided to provide the ultimate experience for Wedding Showers and Bachelorette Parties with our Bridesmaid Blending Bar Events!

TBS Inspiration: Coffee Bars at Receptions

On cold weathered day's like these, the thought of coffee bars during the Bride and Groom's Reception sounds almost magical.  But coffee bars aren't just for Winter Weddings, they fit into every season quite nicely.  No matter what time of day or what season you're celebrating, your guests will LOVE the idea of a signature coffee bar at your reception!

Whether you go for a DIY, guests make their own coffee or hire a barista, there are a few items you want to make sure you have on hand.

1.  Make sure you offer your guests a variety of coffee, both regular and decaff.  You can mix it up if you like and include, cappuccinos, espressos, or hot chocolate for the non-coffee lovers. 

2.  Add to the experience by offering a number of flavors and toppings.  Chocolate & whip cream for the mocha lovers, flavored syrups like vanilla and white chocolate.  And don't forget the basics,  your cream and sugar. 

3. If  you follow our weddings at all, this will come as no surprise, plenty of signage!  Make it fun, create something that is similar to your look and inviting to your guests!  Of course, it doesn't hurt to have custom slip covers for your drinks!

4.  And, if you want to kick it up a notch, add some coffee related desserts ... doughnut holes, coffee cakes, etc.  It's a fun, after-dinner bar for all to enjoy! Don't forget the mints :)

TBS Wedding: Ginny & David

Ginny & David's Wedding was absolutely one of our favorites of 2012.

Together with SilverBox Photographers and Kristen from Hoot Design Co., Ginny and David found themselves the winner of the Win Your DIY Wedding.  We couldn't help ourselves.  Ginny's vision was exactly waht we were looking for, the venue was stunning and the location ... well, who doesn't love Texas?

Yes, I said it!  We made the haul to Texas, which really wasn't all that bad, and landed right in the heart of Arlington.  Ginny & David were the sweetest couple, and it was such a pleasure to help them on their wedding day!  To be honest ... I am still giddy about the venue and location!

TBS Trend Alert: DIY Painted Gold Animals

These spray painted gold animals are all the rage these days!  You can find them everywhere, from home decor to place settings.  This is a super simple DIY project, that could literally be done in one afternoon.  Use them as escort cards or add them to your tablescape.  The best part?  They can double as favors! 

How much fun would this to be mark the food they ordered?  A golden chicken for those who ordered cordon bleu or a golden cow for those who ordered steak?  LOVE this idea, and it's super simple and chic ... the perfect combination!

TBS Wedding: Abby & Jimmy

It's not too often that I get the pleasure to help plan one of my cherished friends weddings.  I met Abby years ago, and there has been a lot of laughter and memories made between the two of us.  She is a genuine, fun loving and adventurous women.  I am honored to have been apart of her special day.  Thank you Abby!

Abby and Jimmy were married on October 13, 2012 in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Abby & Jimmy's wedding was complete with a parachute, hanging chandelier and rustic three-tiered cupcake stand.  What a fun night it was!  Congratulations Abby & Jimmy!!
