TBS Trend Alert: Succulents

Wedding flowers have taken a big turn by mixing succulents into the big day, and we are loving it!

Whether you are using succulents in your bouquets and boutonnieres, your centerpieces and décor, or even as place cards and favors, succulents have shown to be cute in every way.

There is so much variety when it comes to succulents and they are available year round. Another great thing about succulents is that they’re eco-friendly; after the wedding, they can be replanted so you’ll be able to keep a piece of your special day in your home!

Are you planning to incorporate succulents into your wedding day?

TBS Inspiration: White Tulip Centerpieces

For Spring weddings, it's hard to beat the popular white tulip centerpiece.
This cameleon flower is able to be dressed up or down for ANY wedding and decor.
We love that they can look classy, contemporary, whimsical and rustic depending on how they are displayed!

Dressed up or dressed down, you can go wrong with white tulips at your Spring Wedding!

TBS Inspiration: Dusty Miller

Lately we have been eying dusty miller everywhere in the flower world.
From bridal bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres and bouquets.
This light green plant is the perfect addition, creating a softer look wherever added.  Dusty Miller is a suede, velvety foliage, that comes in different shapes and sizes.  This plant looks wonderful in Winter wedding arrangements, but when used in the Summer-time, looks amazing with pastel florals!

Used with traditional flowers, or paired with berries, dusty miller is an excellent choice!  We love it so much, we have begun to add the soft-colored plant to our signature tablescapes as well.  We just can't get enough!

TBS Tablescape: Dreamy Tablescape via TBS

Many times throughout the year, The Bridal Solution is hired to create tablescapes for dinner parties at client's residential homes.  Talk about a dream job!  Most of the times these particular clients have full-time jobs or are busing getting ready for the event, and they know they can't possibly do it all.  Enter The Bridal Solution Elves :)  We create the look they desire, sneak in while everyone's getting ready, and design [on the spot] a look to fit their type of dinner party.

This particular event was created in our design studio first, and then taken to the clients home.  Wouldn't this dreamy design be a great Valentine's Day tablescape for you and your loved ones?

Email natalie@thebridalsolutionllc.com to get more information about our tablescapes,
design services and wedding & event coordination.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, don't forget The Bridal Solution!

TBS Tip: Add Natural Elements

One thing we love to do when designing a wedding is bringing in touches of natural elements.  And I'm not just talking about florals.  To get "the look," try taking it a step further.

Bring in drift wood and create a floral arrangement on long banquet tables for your guests.

Add moss to to warm space up, like this enchanted escort card table.  By mixing the moss with the warmth of the candles, it creates an intimate look.

Think about what you may have around you to use.  Like these tree stumps.  Perfect with rough bark or for a more modern look, use a wood like birch.

TBS Inspiration: Incorporating Succulents

Succulents are all rage these days.  Your not only finding them in peoples homes, patios and wineries, but we're seeing a lot of them show up at weddings.  They create their own personalities in bouquets, and create a warmth on reception tables.   Some brides are even giving them away as favors.  We can't get over how good they look in these weddings!

TBS Wedding: Schlomann-Enochs Sneak Peek

Happy Monday!! The Bridal Solution had an AMAZING weekend, working with some fabulous vendors for the Schlomann-Enochs Wedding in Columbia, MO. It was a beautiful party to celebrate their union last week in Mexico.

Not your average wedding reception - it was jam packed with the extras, including a live country band that totally rocked it! They had EVERYONE out on that dance floor! Thought I would give you a little teaser before the pictures come back ...

And, because it's Monday, don't forget to send in your wedding related questions for "Ask your Expert" on Friday's, brought to you by The Bridal Solution. Each Friday, Natalie will select one question to answer on the blog!
