Sweet, sweet memories of this beautiful day!  I absolutely LOVED this wedding, and I absolutely LOVED LOVE LOVED these families.  As planner, I work with so many different couples throughout the years, many of those couples I become friends with and see on a regular basis.  Others, I feel like they are actually apart of my family, and I can honestly say, that's how I feel about this couple!

 

We met at Bridal University, a conference-style affair that my company, The Bridal Solution puts on throughout the country.  I remember it like yesterday, someone told me I should walk over and talk with the lady in the Red Sweater ... it was Sarah, Liz Nussbaum's Mom.  I did, and the rest is history!

Bridal University 2012 Recap

Bridal University 2012 was a SUCCESS! The Kimball Ballroom on Stephen's College Campus was transformed into a winter white wonderland, with pops of blue thanks to Rodgers Rentals. From the minute the brides walked into Bridal U, they were greeted with sparkling mimosas and brought to our red carpet for pictures with Britt Story, from The Knot. Each participant was handed their course schedule for the day and got ready for class to begin.

Classes were held by The Bridal Solution's TOP wedding professionals in categories of Bridal Beginnings [what to do after you get engaged] to Picture Perfect [latest trends and how to look the best on your wedding day] to finally Setting the Scene [reception perfection.] During break, Lunch was prepared by Fresh Ideas which included an amazing mashtini station and open faced sandwiches. And at the end of the day, brides who participated where given their diplomas, swag bags & their Bridal U Tshirt. The day was jam packed with information for every bride, and activities throughout the day.

Meet Britt Story from TheKnot

The Bridal Solution, along with the Hospitality Management Department from the University of Missouri are pleased to announce that Britt Story from TheKnot will be attending Bridal University 2012.

Hi, my name is Britt Story and I am with The Knot. I have been with The Knot since July of 2010. Besides working for THE #1 wedding brand, I also have had the pleasure of getting to know and work with who I would arguably consider to be some of the best vendors in the wedding industry. Not to mention, I’ve had the pleasure of being in my fair share of weddings all over the country. From selecting the perfect dress to reception details and ending with luxurious honeymoons I have the entire wedding process down to a “T”. When working in such an extraordinary industry you cultivate strong relationships with new clients while always exceeding expectations with existing clients. Being knowledgeable about the wedding business is something I have taken great pride in over the last year and a half. I have attended many bridal shows and bridal events to which I learned and gathered valuable information from other professionals in the industry. The Bridal Solution and UMC Students Launch Bridal U to Educate Brides

“Providing Brides the Knowledge to Plan the Perfect Wedding”

Columbia, Missouri – November 30, 2011 – The Bridal Solution’s Natalie Imhoff and University-of-Missouri Students in the Hospitality Management Program are fusing education and inspiration in a new event their calling Bridal University. This one-day intensive conference style affair brings together The Bridal Solution’s top wedding professionals and brides who are looking for that extra help planning their special day. This informative planning series will give couples the expert guidance, tools and resources they need through the entire planning process.
“There is very limited information about the logistics of planning a wedding,” say’s Natalie Imhoff, owner of The Bridal Solution, llc. “Every bride can use some guidance when planning their special day.” Couples will be able to hear and talk to experts in all different fields, allowing them to receive customized advice without the high price tag of hourly consultations. Those in attendance will be able to sample amazing cuisine and desserts prepared by Fresh Ideas throughout the day and tour the tablescapes full of design inspiration for the 2012 bride. Brides who attend Bridal U will have the benefit of hearing wedding experts in their current market speak on topics like menu planning, photography tips, and the importance of having an on-site coordinator.
Bridal University will be held at the Kimball Ballroom on Stephen’s College Campus, and is scheduled for February 19, 2012. Brides are encouraged to register early to receive a discounted ticket price. All brides who attend Bridal University will receive a complimentary gift bag and Bridal U t-shirt.
